Since our inception in spring of 2000, Family First Foundation (FFF) has been utilizing ‘Sports & Education’ as a unifying force in reaching out to the less-advantaged youths in our community and supporting at risk-families in their many forms! We utilize sports as an attractant to promoting higher education while helping to create dreams, provide ongoing education focused on going to college as the goal, with mentorship, team building skills, role models and opportunities set in environments of academic excellence, sporting events & free clinics all beyond the neighborhood.
Over the last 12 years we have been fortunate to have sponsored over 2,000 youths annually, building dreams of what can be…We help create strong children, strong families, strong communities and the leaders of tomorrow! By providing academic & financial resources we enable those that want to work hard to get ahead with scholarship resources, community leadership skills, role models and volunteerism with a roadmap of the necessary steps to achieve those goals.
For at-risk families we have developed a new ‘Adopt a Family’ back to work transition program that helps pair Donors with shelter families. These are truly at-need woman and their children right here in Los Angeles, many of whom find themselves wanting to join the workforce after a prolonged absence in need of the basic tools to prepare themselves for getting employed. We do this with support services and resources, training, transportation even clothing if needed combined with training workshops to help prepare them to get back into the workforce and be productive members of society again.
We believe that family is the fundamental core and strength of our society; with it’s diversity, differences in cultures and backgrounds. As a tax exempt Non-Profit 501(C-3 organization), we are committed to providing resources, education and direction to our disadvantaged youth and ‘at risk’ members of the community. We help right here, in Southern California, believing we need to take care of our own less-advantaged first.
With your help, the Family First Foundation can make a difference!
