Family First Foundation has a unique blend of Professional Athlete's and Entertainer's who all share a Unique Vision of a Better Tomorrow by settings examples with our Mentoring, Counseling and Outreach Programs targeting "AT RISK" and under-served, Over-looked inner-city Youth, Battered Women Shelters ( Haven Hills II ) and Senior Citizens with our " First Strike " medical prevention program launched at the YMCA in April 2003 that included free Medical testing and exercising regiments and home instruction programs.
Most Professional Athletes and Entertainers understand that we are given almost icon-like status in the eyes of the Youth Of The World and it is because of this high profile status as Athletes and Entertainers we believe that we are Strategically positioned to provide direction, advice and Leadership addressing the athletic, health and educational needs of inner-city Youth / Women and Seniors, who are looking for Role Models to immolate, and we believe in leading by example, we know that most young people obtain the information they learn through observation of others. The lessons they learn reflects they quality of those they observe.
Our organization accomplishes our goals by promoting Academic Achievement, Communally acceptable behavior by example through our Outreach Programs. Our Athletes and Entertainers know that the youth of today are sophisticated enough to pay close attention to what we say verses how we follow through in our action's.
The Foundation creates an awesome Combination of Knowledge and Insight of the National Educational and Sporting "system" and how to help navigate to the highest level possible so that each Youth that we come into contact with can reach for their dreams like Ms. Lisa Leslie. of the World Champion Los Angeles Sparks who was inspired as a Youth attending Kenny's
Youth Camps as a Youngster.
Those At Risk Youth are the ones who stand to benefit the most from the support and guidance this Organization can give. With Sports and Entertainment acting as a Powerful Attractant we are able to help teach and convey information about life, career and places beyond the neighborhood and engage young people in Community and other constructive pursuits that foster Education and Health.
No single Institution, not even the Family by itself can provide all the lessons in life that a young person needs to know to be successful. This task requires a concerted effort by Family, Government, Educators, Health care providers, Communities, other Organization, particularly ones in Sports and Entertainment, like our Foundation
