What is At-Risk?

 

· Children who lack hope for what their lives can become and Seniors with no one in their lives.

 

· Students of busy parents.

 

· Students from poor and/or abusive families, who cannot adequately feed and clothe them or provide leadership or a safe and secure home.

 

· Students who enter school ill-prepared for learning.

 

· Students who are obese or have other preventable health problems.

 

· Latch-key / computer / video kids (young children of working parents who spend part of the day unsupervised at home.

 

· Battered women and children.

 

· Seniors who don't exercise, or are neglected, or can't afford health clubs, trainers, retreats, etc.
