Tech Hub Rocket Launch Challenge with Roosevelt STEAM Academy
Inspiring the Next Generation of Aerospace Innovators. The Tech Hub program proudly hosted the Rocket Launch Challenge on December 15, 2022, at Roosevelt Middle School. The event served as an outstanding educational opportunity for students passionate about the field of aerospace technology.
The Rocket Launch Challenge provided a platform for students to learn the fundamentals of rocket building and launch while also engaging in a thrilling and enjoyable experience.
Participants were divided into teams to collaboratively design and construct their rockets and then engage in a flight mission competition to determine the furthest and most precise rocket launch.Tech Hub's ongoing commitment to empowering and inspiring the next generation of aerospace innovators was further enhanced through the Rocket Launch Challenge. Such hands-on experiences aim to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the aerospace industry.
By participating in the Rocket Launch Challenge, students had the opportunity to hone their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. These skills are crucial for success in any field, but especially in aerospace, where innovation and collaboration are paramount.
The Rocket Launch Challenge was open to all students within the Glendale Unified School District, and no prior experience with rocket building or aerospace technology was required. Tech Hub strives to create an inclusive and diverse learning environment for all students, irrespective of their backgrounds or experiences.
